Crosstalk Modular doesn’t just handle all the technical work. It combines modular samples with the unique layering and processing capabilities of the Crosstalk engine. 10 Phantom Rooms recorded sounds by connecting a variety of modules from hardware manufacturers, some using a sample rate of 96 kHz. These samples were transformed into an innovative instrument with unique features you won’t find anywhere else, including real-time sound modification and dynamic filling (or cross-talk) effects for each of the four sound layers individually. Crosstalk Modular is created by the innovative tools developer 10 Phantom Rooms. Specializing in next-generation Kontakt tools for film and media composers, the company was founded by professional sound engineer and instrument designer Tobias Menguser, along with Paul Haslinger and other creatives. Over his three-decade career, Tobias has created sounds and instruments for many major figures in the industry, including sounds for over 600 film trailers.
